Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Superb Dryer for the Cost

Katie66 7/23/2026

This dryer has a large capacity that I love since I typically have lots of towels and bedding. The timing of the dry cycle matches the results for your load, and the wi-fi message I receive on my fit watch letting me know that my clothes are ready is great when I am busy in other rooms. At first I didn't think this feature would be helpful, but now I love it as I fold my laundry as soon as it is ready from this prompt, easing the wrinkles!

AVOID Maytag Dryer--Pilling on clothes

Bip1 6/1/2026

DO NOT BUY MAYTAG DRYER .....PILLING on clothes, TIME DRY Knob stuck, LINT flowing back onto clothes in dryer, MISLEADING 10 year Warranty. HORRIBLE Customer Service !! Machine is just 29 days and 3 uses old. !! Thinking that my old Maytag had served me well for 20 years, I decided to go again with Maytag Dryer MED54030MW. First dryer load, got PILLING (those round knots) on ALL my clothes !! Just the first time and I see those balls covering my Tshirts, Pure Cotton clothes, Office shirts and a brand NEW Tshirt. I had selected Casual / Permenent press sensor dry setting, which has Medium heat and is recommended setting for drying. Some of these clothes have gone through wash/dry often in past in my older dryer with no problem at all- they remained smooth. Maytag said there is nothing they can do about it except giving troubleshooting tip one of which is turn clothes inside out. So, now I will have those balls feeling scratchy against my skin ??!! TIME DRY knob does not move as cycle proceeds, so one would have to put an alarm just monitor where the cycle was. BE PREPARED TO BE ON HOLD for 2-3 hours just to get CUSTOMER SERVICE rep on the line. I wanted to return the dryer right away, but when after several days, I finally succeeded to speak with Customer Srvc, they said I was past Return policy period and anyways, even if you used the dryer once, you cannot return. Only thing we can do is send out Technician to look into Knob problem only. Tech said they can try to change Timer on Time Dry knob and if that does not work, he does not know if machine was just designed that way. End of cycle volume is so low, I could not hear it even when I was only 2 feet away. IF MAYTAG IS LISTENING, I HOPE the least they can do is exchange this for a different MODEL or PIECE just in case this one was the bad one. I cannot afford to have all my clothes, bedsheets get spoilt with pilling.

Excellent unit. The dryness sensor is spot on. If anything could improve it would be the power button and the start button, their kind of touchy.

Good size, features and price

Jhg11785 12/8/2025

I bought this the day after Thanksgiving along with the matching washer. These items were not even on my radar as I was looking at completely different makes/models, but due to the space in my laundry area at home these fit and fortunately still have a lot of the features I was looking for (bigger drum, quick cycle, wrinkle release etc.) I™€™m happy with the product and fortunately/surprisingly it cost less than the other products I was looking at, plus I was able to get a credit a week after due to a price drop, thanks to the sales rep Pablo. So very happy.

Too many extra features

Michele78 11/18/2025

This Maytag Dryer is very similar to the one that we replaced. Dries well and relatively quiet. Was not aware of the steam function however and need to have a plumber to make the necessary attachments in order to use it.This is of course an additional and unexpected expense and as the whole bill came to over $1600 I am probably going to wait on that.

DMC28 11/6/2025

I bought this last year. I'm trying to love it, but I can't. It's very hard for me to use the start button. I have to constantly keep my finger on it to start. It's very annoying. I don't know why you don't have a regular push button like the older one I had. I' very disappointed.

It's hard to imagine engineers sending out a clothes dryer with such a weak buzzer to signal that my clothes are dry. I'm standing right next to the dryer one time and I could hardly hear the dry signal. I am constantly finding that the load is done and I don't even know it. Maytag should have to replacethe signal with a louder one.

works well when you figure out how to operate as there are no instructions with it. top is sloped to front and everything set on it falls off. With limited laundry room space this is an extra shelf. Home Depot did not have this drier on showroom floor to see this, and this was part of a set on sale.
