this dishwasher is so quiet and does such a wonderful job. If you use the normal setting w/o drying heat there is moisture inside but for $25/year to run it. It works just a good as some brands for much more

For months I washed dishes by hand after my 'really old' 2nd hand dishwasher died. We bought this new about 6 weeks ago and my husband installed it. It is such a treat to lock the door and set the controls. Cleans everything beautifully.

I finally convinced my husband to get a new dishwasher and I love the one we got. We are both on social security so money is short and we were able to get a good deal at the Appliance Discount Center. Also they offered delivery, installation and removal of the old one. The Amanda is really doing a great job. I love it. I have told a lot of friends about how happy we are.

This dishwasher came in the new condo we recently purchased. I love all the features and how it works quietly and efficiently. I did not know that the dish pods are not the best for soft water. We had a repairman come out because the dishes were not dry, even with drying agent. Turns out, the pods supply too much soap for soft water and a clear water washing still presented soap bubbles. We traded to gel (powder would work also) and are back to loving the dishwasher.

My husband bought this dishwasher for me for my birthday as I had never owned one however I do clean houses for a living and we were looking for a lower-priced dishwasher and I am so happy because my low priced dishwasher cleans better than most houses and more well-known namebrand dishwashers that I work with. I love the space inside for larger pots and pans and the fact that it washes at two levels top and bottom.

This is a horrible dishwasher! I understand you get what you pay for but I would at least expect it to somewhat dey the dishes. NO we have to HAND DRY every single dish and every single piece of silverware everytime we run it. It is the WORST appliance we have EVER had.

Could not afford much so bought the cheapest. It does a pretty good job. Not great for anything sticky so have to wash some things a bit before putting them in the dishwasher and cannot overload.

Have not had this dishwasher but a short time. It gets the job done quickly, and the dishes are clean when its done. What more could you ask for? I guess only time will tell. Our last machine only lasted for two years but it wasnt an Amana.

The sales person tried to talk me into a more expensive model, but I've been happy so far. It was very affordable, works like a champ, and and matches my other appliances. I gave it a 4/5, because it is a little loud, but really for the price and performance, I don't mind.

The dishwasher was a good deal at Menards and my old one was on its way out. Install was quick and easy once I had the proper tools. Features are nice and the dishwasher performs as it should.

I bought this for a rental, but it seems to be working so far, it was the lowest price unit I could find so I'm not expecting more than it's worth. The machine doesn't come with any sound insulation padding but it's quiet probably because it doesn't have as much wash pressure from the spray arms that would make noise because the next models up all come with insulation. It is simple to operate because it doesn't have a dozen useless selections others have. So I gave it 5 stars due to it being very good for its price point not comparing it to $900 machine.

bought this amana model ADB1400AG at the sears outlet in palmdale california 93550...they have the discounted ones there for various issues...the one i bought had a small dent in the front stainless steel face...discounted price was $225.93 and now as of 13 july 2019 they are offering a 10 percent discount on that price...in the end with california expensive taxes it was $222.66 for the unit....works very well and looks very similar to the unit it replaces which is a whirlpool model that i bought from either sears or best buys...can't remember which one....the unit does a very good job of cleaning the dishes but i do have one complaint...sometimes i add dishes to it while i am cooking or clean or eating...and the unit gets very very hot inside....a lot hotter than the similar last whirlpool one it replaced....i don't have it on high temperate which it has...not sure if the temp device is stuck or not....but i need it and i am not going to change it...also the last whirlpool model i had which this one replaces only last about 3-4 years...but i was rough on it...didn't clean the dishes off and sometimes would use dishwasher soap which probably isn't a good thing for it....hook up is pretty straightforward...you have to hook up your old electric cord...these new ones don't come with an extension cord to plug in...so use your old one and mark which is ground...and which is white and black...also the hot water hose is at the front of the unit which is a pain to get to when attaching your old steel fresh hot water hose...the drain hose is easy to hook up also...

Noisy, supposed to heat dry your dishes and yet they are soaking wet when the cycle is done. And that is with using a Finish jet dry product.

I love amana products. I bought this dishwasher for my nephew Hunter because he just recently became a dad and I wanted the bottles to get clean. I have had an amana dishwasher for eight years now and only had to make repair to drain hoses. Easy to work on and install if you know a little diy. We've had this dishwasher about a month & it is horrible. NO insulation cover was in the package, so it's really loud. It doesn't dry the dishes at all.....you have to hand dry EVERYTHING when the wash cycle is done. I use the cascade rinse aid but it doesn't seem to help any.

Bought this a week ago and so far I really like it! It doesn't even bother the cats! Only drawback: doesn't dry very well and you still need to scrub off any debris or dried on stuff from the dishes first. Tea and coffee stains have to be scrubbed off first, too. But does good with plastics!

Bought it doesn't have an insulation blanket so when you use the heat dry not everything dries but my dishes come out clean the minor inconvenience of having to dry is better than standing at the sink washing.

I was extremely skeptical about purchasing this brand after the bad reviews people wrote. So far so good. Purchased the warranty so i dont see a future problem. Dishwasher is as quiet as a dishwasher should be. Some people are just too fussy about things. Its not loud its not silent either But my dishes are Clean!
